Mark Penn Fired
Tweet
Mark Penn is giving up his role as chief strategist with Sen. Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign in the wake of “the events of the past few days,” campaign manager Maggie Williams said.
Penn realized that he needed to step down after it was discovered this past week that Penn, who also is chief executive of the lobbying and public relations firm Burson-Marsteller Worldwide, had been hired by the Colombian government to help secure a trade deal that Sen. Clinton has said she opposes, sources told ABC News.
This is about a year too late to do any good for the campaign.

Uh wow. You hire a lobbyist to run your campaign and then you’re shocked! Shocked! To find him lobbying.
It’s over Hilldog.
It’s all about greed
Actually if you read carefully you will find that while Pennis giving up one fancy title he is still staying with the Clinton campaign.
Smoke & mirrors folks – Hillary strikes again!
… she’s the epitome of truthiness
oops, Freudian slip I guess. Pennis should be Penn is. Maybe I was thinking of Bill and his little zipper problem
Yup. A vote for Hillary is still a vote for Penn having a influence (if not a formal title) in the White House.
It feels nice to say Mark Penn doesn’t count anymore.
