Sorry, can’t click on that link. Folks over there have utterly ruined what used to be a daily stop.
You do the same thing. He’s pro Clinton, you’re pro Obama. So what? I admit, though, he is hard to read lately. He takes it a bit too far.
I prefer Clinton but I will vote for Obama. I hope I don’ regret it.
John McCain loves Taylor Marsh, Larry Johnson, and Joe Wilson for doing the dirty work for him
Umm, yeah, that would be Ice T on Law & Order, not Ice Cube.
Speaking of the wrong n********.
Asshat.
You do the same thing. He’s pro Clinton, you’re pro Obama. So what?
I don’t think Oliver goes off the vitriol meter like these other folks.
You’re getting on Larry Johnson (and by extension Hillary) for quoting Ice-T rap lyrics and complaining about the violence and curse-words? Would it have been better if he quoted KRS-One? (Actually, it probably would have been. I really like KRS-One; “Blackman in Effect” was classic, I thought. And no less relevant today than in 1990.)
It’s Sistah Souljah deja vu all over again.
This whole Wright thing was a mistake. I’m rapidly approaching the point of lumping in Mark Penn with Karl Rove as people who should not be allowed to be involved in politics. I’m also starting to wonder if this really did originate with the Clinton campaign or if we’re witnessing another RNC ratf–king operation. It’s exactly the kind of thing a Rove/Atwater type would orchestrate to tear down both Clinton and Obama at once. A two-fer for the Republicans.

Approaching? What’s the hold up?
But…
no.
See…
Ice cube… Ice T… Eminem?
Are you serious? Okay, who lobotomized LJ and forgot to tell the rest of the world?
I mean, I can’t believe he likened Hillary Clinton to Eminem.
Damn it, too shook up to say anything witty, and Duros beat me to the punch of pointing out he had the wrong rapper turned actor.

You know, taking the making-posts-so-racist-the-KKK-would-be-proud fact out of this, one still has to wonder if Larry “Flowbee” Johnson just posts stuff out of his ass without fact checking. I mean, really.. Ice Cube? Was it that difficult to goto NBC’s website and look at the cast of Law and Order? If if you mix up rappers, how can you assume to have knowledge of the music? Like enough knowledge to form all the grandiose opinions and relate them to a presidential race?
What an unmitigated hack.
Come on, nobody wants to admit how “street” Larry Johnson is, dude is ex-CIA, for all we know, he was selling crack to Ice T (Cube?) back in the 80’s. He’s just like Eminem, only 50 years old and racist as all hell (based on this post, anyway).
Now I need to save this as a second link for whenever some Taylor Marsh fan goes all gaga over some idiotic thing Johnson wrote. The first?

Oh. My. God.
I used to visit his blog back when the Valerie Plame Wilson shamefulness broke, and I thought he was a rational human being, with an intelligent, passionate voice. But it’s obviously been a while since then.
That post is indescribably bad – even if you manage to overlook the mind-boggling racist overtones, it’s just incoherent. Then I clicked throught to his main page, and it’s post after post (after post after post after post) (after post) of Larry tearing his hair out over the fact that the majority of Democrats just refuse to agree with him in thinking that Obama is the second coming of Huey Newton.
I can understand still feeling enthusiastic for a candidate who (sorry but it’s time to face reality) lost, but seriously, this guy is just a few steps away from tin-foil hat land.
I thought about writing a comment here that refuted the many, MANY wrongheaded comparisons, assertions and assumptions in his so-called thinking, but really, why bother?
