Anyone want to place a bet as to how long it will be before the MSM starts reporting this accurately as “she lied” rather than just echo Clinton’s talking points of “she misspoke”?
I’ll cover the bets, because I don’t think I’ll have to pay out for a while…
I’ll accept misspoke. Under warning of sniper attack versus under sniper attack. I’m not sure she has the knowledge of what prompts the first, and she never described the ricochets of the second.
At she said it on more than one occasion. She’s “certain” of her recollection. There was no greeting ceremony. They ran to the vehicles.
And when evidence is brought forth that that she isn’t reporting it accurately, she repeats her version of events and belittles those who say she is reporting it wrong. Only when video is released completely contradicting her version of events is it even acknowledge it’s “possible” she may have “misspoke”.
Possible?
Sounds like she has a habit of saying things like this. How about her being involved in the Ireland peace talks? Is that another time she “misspoke”. I am beginning to think this campain is getting to her where she can not remember these places where she has been. Is this the one I want answering the pnone at 3 AM?
I don’t like her explanation about the affair either, but let’s keep our eyes on the prize: McSame last week confused who exactly is fighting who in Iraq. He had to be corrected by Lieberman, but there was no media wurlitzer and barely a comment on how he who claims to know foreign policy- knows nothing.
The difference between the Clinton gaffe and the McSame one? One gets American soldiers killed, one is a harmless embellishment.
