  • Bad news for Hillary Clinton, as this could really hurt her lead with Hispanics. On the other hand, it makes it much more likely Obama will win in New Mexico and other South West states.

  • Could potentially hurt her with the superdelegates as well. The wind is shifting.

  • While significant, I was personally more impressed by This story of the mayor of Camp Hill, PA going so far as switching parties in order to be able to vote for Obama. Given PA is the next “State that is not utterly insignificant to Hillary Clinton” this is big news methinks.

  • “I’m sick and tired of the politics of fear in this country. He’s the only one who doesn’t do that,” Thieblemont said of Obama. “He’s the only candidate who’s said he’d talk to our enemies and try to get some common ground.”

    Word.

  • And let the countdown begin on the right-wing noise machine turning Richardson’s comments against the politics of fear into a talking point for the politics of fear:

“He said he’d talk to our enemies! He’s going to sell us all out to al-Qaida in Iran!”

  • Richardson’s an idiot. The guy owes his political career to the Clintons, and this is how he shows his appreciation. He couldn’t get his nose up far enough when Bill was President but now that Obama has the media on his side he looks at what he could gain from it. As a resident of New Mexico, and someone who works in the healthcare field, I can tell you this Governor’s agenda is all about him. He has slashed away funding for those with disabilities, and instead, focuses on his own political career, and trying to turn New Mexico into the next Hollywood. Hell, he isn’t even here 75% of the time.

  • Shorter John:

    “WHAAHHH!!”

  • The guy owes his political career to the Clintons, and this is how he shows his appreciation.

Yeah, John, you’re right. What we need MORE of in Washington is complete and total lockstep loyalty.
