Brilliant comment by Derrick Ashong, a young black man:
“For days pundits have pondered whether Sen. Obama could weather the controversy over Rev. Jeremiah Wright’s racially polarizing comments. The question at this juncture is not whether the candidate will rise to the occasion, but rather, whether America will.”
I assure you that 60 days into her presidency, Hillary will realize that the “serious” position will be to continue with our failed policy in Iraq.
If Clinton gets the nomination, OW, will you vote for McCain, Nader or not at all? I’d really like to know where you stand on this issue. I’ve heard from too many people who won’t vote if their candidate doesn’t get the nomination.
I prefer Clinton but I’ll vote for Obama if I have to.
No, I won’t vote for Clinton. She represents the worst of the Democratic party; the Clintons are a disease of which the party desperately needs to be cured. And since she’ll lose in a landslide with or without my vote if she manages to slime her way to the nomination, I won’t feel even the tiniest bit guilty. I’ll get my consolation from the fact that the debacle in what should have been a huge Democratic year will FINALLY earn the Clintons the pariah status in th party that they so richly deserve.
And I’ll save up so I have plenty of money to donate to her primary challenger in NY in 4 years.
