Obama, Canada, NAFTA And Egg On The Face

Both John McCain and effectively pro-McCain Taylor Marsh are pushing the hell out of this non-story, yet the Canadian government and the Obama campaign have both denied it.

Desperate.

    CTV stands by their story, but who the hell are they? CBC and Canoe are the most credible news source up there.

    Yes, but that was before CTV named names.

    “the Obama camp did not respond to repeated questions from CTV on reports that a conversation on this matter was held between Obama’s senior economic adviser — Austan Goolsbee — and the Canadian Consulate General in Chicago.”

    Now it’s radio silence from the Obama campaign. Guess the damage control exercise is still ongoing. It’ll be kind of hard for them to blame this on a “low-level campaign worker” or a “rogue staffer”, since Goolsbee is Obama’s Senior Economic Advisor.

    It appears that the Egg is all over Obama’s face at this point.
