		<description>Obama is supposed to be a leader.  If he thought Clinton was disrespecting King he should have said do.   Instead he made a brilliant cutthroat political move, staying above the fray while his surrogates put the Cintons in Don Imus purgatory.
It's not my idea of bringing people together, but it worked.  I just hope he has a lot more tricks up his sleeve if he gets the chance to face McCain.

To make his already weak case, however, this blogger had to ignore the smoking gun--the Obama campaign memo linked to in Wilentz's post.  Just read it.
And Obama could have defused the MLK controversy at any time.  He chose not to.
