Bill Clinton Doesn’t Like The Rules Of The Texas Contest
Tweet
In Texas, the vote will be weird. They have a traditional primary in the day, then at night there is a caucus. Now, remember, the Clinton campaign didn’t have any problems with caucuses in Iowa. Then before Nevada they whined about them. Then they won Nevada so they were okay with them. Then the lost a boatload of caucus states and one again disliked caucuses.
That brings us to today’s whine about Texas from President Clinton.
“The doors open at 7 and they close at 7:15. It would be tragic if Hillary were to win this election in the daytime and somebody were to come in at night and take it away.”
But you see, President Clinton, nobody is taking it away. Your wife’s campaign has failed to organize. You thought you would have the nomination wrapped up by Super Tuesday and didn’t have a contingency plan for the caucuses. The rules are wacky, they are weird, but they are the stinking rules.

Is there not something vaguely (or not so vaguely) racist about the implied characterization of Obama as a thief in the night? Massa says to lock the doors to the great house less the pickaninnies slip in and steal all the whiskey and the silver and kill Missus in her bed.
Ready on day one!
They do what in the Texas primaries?
… now that’s REAL leadership for you.
Yeah, now that they are getting their asses kicked they whine. Mark Penn’s brilliance is shining through. The rules didn’t change mid campaign. These were the rules from the get go. Obama and his crew organized like nobodys business. Hillary and Co. thought they’d have a cake walk. As has been mentioned before, Hillary has never been tested in an election(until now). And it shows. Obama made a fool of both Hillary and Bill. it is a wonder they kept up their heads in the cloud thinking when people like Geffen started holding fundraisers for Obama. Didn’t that tell them anything(that he’d at least get a lot of rich, well connected support)? Obama obviously supplemented that real well with donations from average Joe’s. It just goes to show that the Clinton’s aren’t as smart as people thought they were.
The story of Obama’s campaign should, hopefully, extrapolate well in terms of how he’ll work on the problems BushCo is leaving behind–assuming that the road ahead is hard, and then planning for every stage of it.
This stands in stark contrast to certain unending wars I know.
