Zorn!

I’m not sure what to think about new Redskins head coach Jim Zorn. I’m sure glad it ain’t Jim Fassel, that’s for sure. But I don’t think there’s ever been a more snakebitten coach search in NFL history.

    It could be worse. Marty Schottenheimer and Bill Callahan are still looking for coaching jobs.

    I don’t know what your gripe is with Jim Fassel. He was a head coach that one time and even though the Giants lost, he DID take them to the Super Bowl.

    Now you’ve got a guy that:

    A. Has never been a coordinator

    B. Already has a staff picked out for him

    C. Won’t be able to spend as much time with his young quarterback as he would like to.

    This is going to be ugly.

    Trust me, I’m not wild about the Zorn pick either. My problem with Fassel is that as you know he was on the downside before he got fired from NY. He also never struck me as a great inspirer of men.
