Sweep For Obama
Tweet
A good night for Senator Obama – Washington, Louisiana, and Nebraska wins. Tomorrow is Maine, and then on Tuesday we here in the Potomac region get to vote. He should win all three, though I think the toughest ground to cover is Virginia. I don’t think his campaign has done a good job at all of tamping down expectations. They have a tendency to let the story live on its own rather than massaging it. That’s okay when he actually wins, but it becomes a hard hit when he doesn’t.

Hopefully Obama will continue to win big. I would like to see this wrapped up as fast as possible.
Also, Huckabee showed he still had life, which is a bad sign for McCain. He might be forced to take Huckabee, which would live neither member of the ticket with any real economically conservative credentials.
I predict a sweep but, despite recent polls showing Obama about 20 points ahead in BOTH MD and VA, I predict it will go Obama by 12 in MD and by 5 in Virginia, the home of the “Doug Wilder” effect.
