And the joke that Romney was the chosen candidate of the conservative wing. Romney is like New England weather. Don’t like what he stands for? Wait a few minutes, it will change.

They are thisclose to committing hari kari on Wizbangblog. It’s fun to watch them agonize about having to vote for McCain. They are starting to figure out that their rabid ideology is on the fringe of debate.

What a bunch of losers the Republicans are stuck with. I would have given McCain 45% of the vote before his Kerry-esqe comments of staying in Iraq “100…1000 years” and saying he doesn’t know anything about the economy. The question is will the DNC capitalize? Or will they say it isn’t nice?

He’s more pro-life than McCain, and more conservative in other areas as well. (Not to mention having more money.) All he would need to do is pull 10% of Republican voters to make it nearly impossible for McCain to win.

I liked Mitt and although I probably couldn’t have voted for Mitt2008, I thought he was a pretty strong candidate and more palitable than the rest of the field.

It turns out that the southern bible thumpers don’t like Mormons, or at least prefer the purity of a Southern Baptist preacher to a Yankee conservative. Frankly, I think the Republicans are left with their two weakest candidates. McCain is distasteful to all who have followed the arc of his career and Huck can’t win outside of the deep south. This could end up being a historic landslide.
