Giuliani As A Running Mate?
For once let these usually wrong people be right. It would be like getting to run against crazy Rudy after all! Please, God, make this happen.

I’m waiting for the downside.
I’m holding out for McLame Loserman….
Let’s all remember way back to 2004. Kerry was going to win and win big!
The country was sick of Bush and his war and his cronyism.
How did that work out again?
Any of the Republicans can beat any of the Democrats in a general election.
This election, no matter who the candidates are, is going to be another squeaker.
Looking at the electoral map from 2004, I am not sure what states we can swing into our column. If Clinton is the candidate then Colorado stays Republican. Obama has a slim chance to take Colorado, slim but still better than Clinton. I think we can forget about a Democratic victory in the South or the near south.
This means we have to keep everything and take Ohio. Iowa and New Mexico aren’t enough. Iowa, New Mexico and Colorado could do it but taking three states from the Republicans will be tough.
What I am saying Oliver is be careful what you wish for, you might get it.
This election is going to come down to four or five states: Iowa, Ohio, New Mexico and maybe Florida and Pennsylvania. I really don’t see any of the other Red states changing sides. Unfortunately, I don’t think Colorado will switch sides.
Go to 270towin.com. Start with the 2004 actual results and make those five states neutral. I think that is the 2008 election map.
And as ALWAYS, the election is going to be based upon who is running for President, not who the running mate is.
Colorado Dave: I am confident yet cautious. We’re not playing with 2004 anymore.
Jay: Of course its about the nominee, but there will be an appetite for intriguing stories about the running mate. Ask Thomas Eagleton.
If McCain chooses Huck as his running mate, it will terrify independents. McCain doesn’t look well, so his successor will be on people’s minds much more than it would be for, say, Romney, Hillary, or Obama.
And Huckabee believes straight-up Taliban shit. He thinks the apocalypse will be a good thing. I guarantee that would kill his appeal fast.
