RU-486 is not the morning after pill – Plan B is the morning after pill, which is merely an extra high dose of a birth control pill. Plan B prevents ovulation and does NOT prevent implantation once ovulation takes place.

Do not confuse the two. Rotten-assed conservatives want that confusion.

Aaarrrggg!

RU-486 is an abortion pill. It is not the morning after pill. The morning after pill is designed to prevent *conception* so no pregnancy occurs at all.

This is a pet peeve of mine because part of the anti-choicers’ strategy is to equate the morning after pill with RU-486 when they are completely different.

Also, they want to control you. You can’t forget that part of the equation. These people want power above all else.

In my opinion, until the fetus can be made to survive without the woman, without potentially harming the woman, it is the woman’s decision and hers alone.
