Hoping For A Romney Win
Tweet
On one hand I want to see Hugh Hewitt eat crow again, but on the serious side I don’t think anybody poses as big a threat to a Democratic presidency as John McCain. It’s not that I think McCain would win, but if he’s the nominee it will be closer than I’d like. On the flip side, if Romney wins that kills McCain and the likely GOP nominee will be Romney or Huckabee. And I think the race is a lot easier versus those two, no matter who the Democratic nominee is.

I don’t know, I keep seeing these McCain ads and he seems to be spending alot of money to tell me how Kosher he is. I don’t think he’s even Jewish or Muslim. Is this supposed to be effective? “No Pork!!! That is my platform.”
Right now Romney came in second in both the early, important states. (He won Wyoming! Does anyone care?)But he is ahead in delegates and has a serious amount of cash.
Had he won tonight, he would have been the clear leader. As it is now, there are still three people with a shot: Huckabee, McCain, and Romney.
Michigan looks to be the tiebreaker for the Republicans. And if someone can win Michigan and Nevada, they will be in a great position to take South Carolina and Florida giving them the big Momentum going into Super Tuesday.
