Giuliani, Romney, and Huckabee are all tied up nationally for the GOP nomination, reflecting the Republican electorate’s fluid state. None of these guys has yet done enough to woo the base. If I were a conservative Republican I certainly would have a hard time between a New York moderate/liberal, a Massachusetts governor who seems to find religion in even numbered years, and an Arkansas preacher whose foreign policy knowledge seems to go no further than Kentucky. I would probably be an Alan Keyes supporter, or ideally I’d sign up with ZombieReagan2008.com.
On the Democratic side, Sen. Clinton is still kicking ass in a major way nationally.
