Oh, Bushies. They really think that by tacking slightly to the center on a few ticky-tack issues they will somehow rehab this failed presidency. It’s like Richard Nixon pointing to the creation of the EPA after subverting the constitution. Sorry guys, this isn’t a playground. You don’t get to play “takebacks”. Your guy screwed over America, the country responded by giving historically high levels of disapproval to your boy. It’s over. You’re done. I will love, however, seeing one of the most unpopular presidents in modern history preside over the Republican convention in 2008.
