He'd been involved in a massive insurance fraud of Holocaust survivors and his son ended up confessing to murdering him. The lawyer for the insurance company, who had been obfuscating and obstructing as lawyers do so well, ended up providing the key evidence to the DA. The DA cautioned the lawyer that he's admitting to breaking the law. "I just saw a man destroy himself out of shame for his father's acts," said the lawyer. "I have two sons of my own." But I often wonder if things would change a bit if the parent politicians had to publicly defend themselves to their kids.
