Somehow the American people aren’t dancing in the aisles at the idea that 3,500+ American lives later, no WMD, and a nation that can’t exist without the U.S. military babysitting its every move – somehow someone putting up a cross on a church somewhere makes it all worthwhile. Opposition to the Iraq war is at an all time high.
“The surge is working” and “they put up a cross” is the “they opened a school” of 2007 and the usual conservative gullibles are falling for it again.
