Two Questions

1. Would you care if I supported one candidate for president or another?

(For the record I supported Edwards and Dean in 2004, and voted for Edwards in the anti-climactic Massachusetts primary though I’m honestly dubious about the use of me supporting anyone in 2008 since I’m fine with any of the top 3 Dems)

2. Which candidate would you guess I support?

I’m surprised that you don’t voice your opinion more forcefully already. It wouldn’t change how I see this site.

    2. Which candidate would you guess I support?

Kucinich, cause you want his magic pot of gold.

  4. NCProsecutor says:

    No, and Edwards.

  5. I presume we share the same opinion. That is, someone with a “D” after his/her name.

  6. mike in dc says:

    1. No. Well, okay, if it was Hillary I might mind just a skotch.
    2. edwards or obama. i know you were supporting O earlier but the tone of your posts on him shifted over time.

  7. Dr. Victor Davis Handjob says:

    1. It’s a personal blog. If you support someone, why not say so?

    2. I could see all three. I was going to say Edwards, but I have a feeling it’s Clinton.

  8. Jamey says:

    1) No, not really.
    2) The thought of a Joe Gibbs administration is too sickening a thought for this early hour.

  9. Quaker in a Basement says:

    Yes!!1!!

    Ron Paul!1!1!1!!

    [\ronbot]

  10. Gibbs/Alba? Hmmmm.

  11. Mike in SLO says:

No, please support someone. I’d like to confirm my suspicions that Clinton is not nearly as popular as the press and polls indicate.

My guess would be you support Edwards.

  12. TexasPete says:

As Dr. V.D.H. above says, it’s your blog. You should say who you support, if you feel like it. I may not agree, but I grew up in Dallas and I keep reading in spite of your abuse for Dallas fans, so why should I mind a little political disageement? Besides, there are no Democrats that it would really upset me foryou to support. (At least not that are still in the race today.)

  13. Ken says:

Feel free to endorse anyone. And who really cares if Jennifer Lopez or Snoop Dog endorse someone. I see this every day from the Edwards Spam Club. It’s over, the congresswoman from South Dakota endorsed Edwards. Does that really change anyones mind.

You will support Obama. Because you know he is the best person to be President.

The rest of the Netroots will support Edwards because it will make them look powerful.

They hate the MSN, but would love to be them.

  14. will fudger says:

    Billary!

  15. Dr. Victor Davis Handjob says:

“The rest of the Netroots will support Edwards because it will make them look powerful.”

Huh? I can think of bloggers and net-roots folks who are for all of the big three. I don’t see how you could possibly back up your expectation that Oliver will be the only guy behind Obama — that’s just bizarre.

  16. Ed says:

You should openly support Hillary. You don’t even comment much on Edwards or Obama. The earlier comment is on target – somehow your posts changed tone from very pro-Obama. Recently it’s all Hillary. I think you’re about wanting a winner at all costs and you think it’s going to be Hillary. I hope it isn’t. But if you’re thinking about openly supporting someone, you have someone in mind, and there’s no sense in forcing us to read the tea leaves a la Drudge, who is pro-Romney.
