I noticed this from Bush today too. I think he really has no idea that he’s president and commander-in-chief.

My kingdom for a president who isn’t an idiot.

As a friend says when Bush comes up on tv: “You’re doing it wrong.”

    No, I think he means every word. “You can’t be President and head of the military.” Implied in that statement is “I, however, can be. Because I can do anything I want. Nyah.”

    See also “When we do it, it isn’t torture.” It’s the same mentality. I believe Orwell summed it up as “Some animals are more equal than others.”

    Jesus bouncing Christ, did he really say that? I’m so glad they don’t have a military uniform for the President’s Office. He’d never stop wearing it.

    Wait, did he just admit this isn’t a free country anymore?
