How NOT To Elicit Sympathy

Dear TV Writers,

I think you all are on the right side of this strike issue and feel that the studios are trying to screw you over in the long run. That said, you lose sympathy when we see that you being "on strike" involves having Eva freaking Longoria deliver pizzas to you. Eva Longoria, pizza delivery woman. Sheesh. Life is rough.

(although in this shot Ms. Longoria looks like she suffers from man hands)

I understand what she’s trying to do–really, I take issue here on your comments. The REAL troubling part is, she’s delivering “Dominos” pizza. Why don’t they just water-board the writers on strike, for goodness sake! My GOD. The writers are PEOPLE. Why are you feeding them crap!?

I’m pretty sure you can use a Domino’s pizza as the board during a waterboarding procedure.

Any actor showing support is doing themselves a favor as well. The DGA contract expiration looms on the horizon, as does the SAG contract. Consider that if they don’t get this straightened out soon, there might not be a fall 2008 movie season at all.
