The Republicans Are Scared Of “X”
Look, folks, this kind of stuff is fine for political gabbing and navel-gazing, but please don’t pick a candidate to support because of what you think the Republican reaction may or may not be. This election coming up is one of those where the left actually has an advantage, however slight, so it would be best if the candidate is the one who gets you in your gut.

the dems talk about who is electable, and the repubs prove they are by running against the dem candidates from day one.
to me, this shows just what each party thinks of their base.
the republicans love their base and understand that the wingnuts keep the national debate pulled to the right.
on the other hand, democrats that think any of the dem candidates is not “electable” has bought into republican spin that the left is out of touch with the mainstream.
worrying about who the repubs are scared of is just another variation of the same disrespect of core supporters.
