No Gravel, Thank God

This debate certainly benefits for the absence of Mike Gravel, a candidate on the fringe of the fringe with no discernible support whatsoever. Congressman Kucinich is able to argue from the very left without sounding like an idiot, even though I agree with him on almost nothing.

  1. I doubt anyone missed Gravel. I doubt Gravel even realized there was a debate. The man is doing no campaigning outside the debates, so he shouldn’t be at the debates.

On the other hand, I like Kucinich. He’s crazy enough to get things done, but not so crazy that he’s be dangerous in power.

  2. What are Gravel’s positions on anything? I know he thinks that Bush and Cheney ought to be impeached, so he’s ahead of everyone else on that issue.

But what positions of his are wrong, in anyone’s opinion?

I don’t know his positions. He hasn’t campaigned enough for me to make an informed decision about him.

He just keeps walking around that goddamned lake and staring at the camera!
