    I don’t know what you’re insinuating, OW. I mean, I’m a black guy from the South Side of Chicago, and I see nothing at all racist about implying that the ‘articulate’ Obama is unique. Now I’m gonna follow Quaker’s lead and go get me some Night Train, yo.

    My favorite quarterback Donovan McNabb is from the South side of Chicago and I’d love to have a guy like him living next to me. Same for his whole family. They’re my kind of people.

    Oliver… Of course Buchanan isn’t an expert on the black man. He’s an expert on the white man. And he’s reporting (maybe accurately) on what white men expect of a “black guy from the South Side of Chicago.”

    That’s overstating his expertise. Pat Buchanan is an expert on white men just like Pat Buchanan. Beyond that he either doesn’t know, doesn’t care, or some combination of both.

    CS – And that Jon Stewart also makes fun of Democrats. But in the right-wing world, any criticism of right-wingers makes you at best a RINO, at worst a treacherous liberal, even if you also go after absurdity and corruption on the left side of the aisle.

    which is why I did not say “… Keith Olbermann talking about one-sided criticism” I specifically chose “echo chamber” because his show hasn’t booked a Conservative guest in over a year.
