Yesterday, the Mental Health Project of the Urban Justice Center released “Social Insecurity; How the Social Security Administration’s ‘Fugitive Felon Program’ Harms Disabled, Retired, and Poor Americans,” available at http://www.urbanjustice.org/pdf/projects/Social_Insecurity_10_07.pdf. The report blasts SSA for terminating the benefits of thousands of harmless people under the guise of law enforcement.
