In this WaPo story about how the Patriots offense matches up versus the Redskins defense, Cowboys coach Wade Phillips compares the Patriots production to the 1990s offensive production of the Buffalo Bills. You’ll remember that those Jim Kelly-led Bills made the Superbowl three times.

You’ll also remember how one of those Superbowls turned out.

    Speaking of ‘Heh’ OW, did you see the Roll Call story earlier this week about Heath Shuler losing a touch-football game against the DC cops earlier this week?

    Football talent evaluation must really be something if guys like Shuler (and Tim Couch…and Rex Grossman…and Akili Smith…and, well you see what I mean) go high on draft day while Tom Brady sits around until the sixth round.

    /not a Pats fan, by any stretch. Just sayin’.

    I can’t believe I’m going to say this, as a long time hard-core Dallas fan. But my hatred for the Pats that has reached monumental heights after video-gate compels me to say “Kick ass Redskins!”
