One Liner Of The Week: Team Obama
Tweet
Kudos to the Obama campaign for this zinger:
“Every family has a black sheep,” is the Obama campaign’s response to Lynne Cheney’s declaration on MSNBC yesterday that her husband and the Illinois senator are distant cousins.
Cheney says their joint lineage can be traced through the 17th century Huguenot Mareen Duvall, who settled in Maryland to escape religious persecution in France.

Not only have I learned Dick Cheney is black, but he’s also FRENCH!
He shoots, it’s up, but it’s no good!
Nice try pkb, but no points this round.
If Cheney said it, it would be racist. In order for it to be racist from Obama, he would have had to say “every family has a white sheep”.
You see, it isn’t racism if you are merely admitting that you have a race.
Wow, that is some stretch pkb. You should check to see if you pulled anything. You really need to warm up before you go trolling.
I have to say, though, that I do appreciate Obama’s use of the phrase since it works on many more levels than the traditional usage. He pretty much inverted any possible racial interpretation where Obama would be seen as the black sheep (both literally and figuratively) and he got the bonus of basically calling Cheney the miserable misbegotten offspring that brings shame on the whole family line.
Bullseye.
You just know that pkb would love to call Oliver or Obama a ni**er.
“And if Cheney had said the same thing?
Would Oliver’s hyperventilating over such “racist” rhetoric be audible from Maryland to California?
Of course not…never a double standard here at ODub.com!”
This would only make sense if Dick Cheney was black and Obama was white. You see, different situations are treated differently. I know this is hard for you to understand since you are a conservative and therefore dumb.
Gosh, I think PKB has got it right this time. You see, the reason Oliver is bad is because he didn’t condemn Dick Cheney for something Dick Cheney never said. Makes sense to me!

I really shouldn’t drink coffee while I read. *wiping off monitor*
