They say he isn’t Steve Rogers. It looks about as awful as electric blue Superman (one of Superman’s post-death costumes).

    He’d be alright if he wasn’t shiny. Is that really Sir Ross’ idea?

    Can’t stand superhero costumes that look like armour. I hated to see Kyle Rayner go back to the 3-inch-thick metal domino mask.

    Damned right that’s not Steve Rogers! Steve Rogers will be rolling in his grave over that.

    I think this is just the latest in a long line of pretenders to the flag that few beyond Steve are qualified to wear.

    Great. Just what the comics need: more testosterone. We’re tired of Captain America actually being a GOOD guy; let’s turn him into The Punisher.

    This looks like the return of the Cap of the 50s, recently discussed in this very space.

    Note to Marvel: The Punisher was cool because he was different. Now, they’re ALL The Punisher, and it’s boring.

    I hate Stan Lee.

    Who cares? No matter how you slice it this is just Capzreal. (Cap + Azreal, the french ninja who took over for Batman while he was a paraplegic.)

    I grew up a Marvel kid and while this isn’t quite as dumb as Superboy pounding on the walls of reality (a la Infinite Crisis), things like this and the Thor Clone piss me off a great deal.
