Dobson & The Veto Of Giuliani

Not pure enough for the “religious” far right. I think a lot of the talk about a third party is just talk, but there’s a good chance those people will stay home rather than vote for Giuliani. If they were to go third party, that would probably kill about 2-3% of the Republican base.

That said, I still think the Dems don’t need this assist to win next Fall. But I won’t look a gift-horse in the mouth either.

    They will change their minds, or at least his group’s rank and file will. Very few would vote for a third party candidate. This is posturing on Dobson’s part, sort of like bush ‘agonizing’ over the stem cell thing.
