The End Of Racism
Tweet
Yeah, not yet.
A group of white Louisiana college students dressed in blackface and reenacted the “Jena 6″ assault while a friend snapped photos and videotaped the staged attack, images that were later posted to a participant’s Facebook page. The photos, which you’ll find on the following pages, were taken late last month on the bank of the Red River, where students from the University of Louisiana at Monroe giddily acted out the racial attack. The photos (and the short video clip at right) were posted to the Facebook page of Kristy Smith, a freshman nursing student.

Are people from the south just fucking dumber than most? I know this shit happens everywhere, but not nearly with the frequency in the south. When will these morons get over their bigotry? They have no problem watching a black guy run a piecec of pigskin, but make fun of his people behind his back.
I can easily google and find 5 quick cases of racism out from the south. Rodney King wasn’t driving through the south. Yet Vic berates the south while calling the entire region morons for the actions of a few.
That’s so ironic it hurts.
I ive in Washington State. Some of these people are just as racist as my Louisiana cousins.
The first time I heard the phrase “You’re picking on me because I’m black” was in Washington.
And it’s because I asked someone to stop screaming in the hotel lobby.
There were no screaming white people around for me to ask to be quiet.
vik,
you ever been to Boston?
Hell, vik, you ever been to America?
I lived in Boston. I don’t think it’s as bad as the south.
But, Oliver, you didn’t live in the whole South.
It’s the downside of transportation technology–that the bigots and idiots can now settle anywhere, at any time, instead of being forced to huddle in tiny enclaves, afraid of the world outside.
