It isn’t fair to say that the Republican candidates don’t care about black people. They just care about their racist base more.

Giuliani especially can’t go to Morgan. He has real problems in the South and his only hope is to rely on his trump suit: a history of hard-nosed anti-black street violence by the NYPD under his administration. Giuliani cannot afford to blunt that message in South Carolina by addressing black voters with something, you know, humane!?
