Bush The Drag

This ad emphasizes a point I’ve been making about 2008: what will the GOP do about George W. Bush? Some Dems think that Bush will be off the table, but he’s going to be the sitting president for the entire period and the next president will be his succesor.

He’s also recently said that he considers himself an asset to the GOP. I’m all for allowing him to continue believing that.

Damn–for a split second I thought the title was “Bush IN Drag”

I think Bush owns the Republicans no matter what they say. I think Bush will foist himself into the Republican frey for President much to their frustration.

In this country we’re ruled by a minority. 37% is the new majority. It doesn’t seem to matter how low Bush goes in the polls or how unpopular the occupation of Iraq is, he always gets his way.

And the new BFF for Republicans is filibuster.

I certainly think Bush is a liability to all Republicans running for re-election but the press colors it differenlty.
