Comcast Sucks. That’s Right, Comcast The Cable Company, Comcast, The Company That Provides Broadband Internet. That Comcast. The Comcast That Sucks.

Two years ago I had so much hell installing my cable it took three separate visits from Comcast and a call to Comcast management to install normal cable and DSL to a standard run of the mill apartment in suburban Maryland. Now comes word that Comcast – yes, Comcast, is buying off bloggers to shill for Comcast’s substandard service. Shame on Comcast. Comcast!

Comcast can’t suck enough. We dropped them two years ago (they were our all-in-one provider) and have never ever looked back. We sometimes went days at a time without broadband internet because they oversold it in our neighborhood. Good riddance to bad rubbish. Ugh.
Comcast in Mass is also terrible.
I got a clearly used cable box from comcast, and they tried to royally screw me when I canceled 4 months into my contract.
Satellite (DishNetwork) was way better for quantity and varietyl, but then I sort of gave up on TV entirely last year… so, i got nuthin’. Dry loop DSL from Verizon… and a cell phone. That’s it.
Who needs the hassle?
We used to subscribe to Time-Warner cable and internet service (Roadrunner), but about the time we had to move, they were bought off by Comcast. Apparantly, our new house “wasn’t on their map” and decided to send a tech over to inspect it. We moved in over a month and a half ago and no tech has come to this day. We get sattelite from Dish and DSL service from AT&T now.
…Yeah.
On the brighter side, I’ve been meaning to test something out that my landlord mentioned…getting a Free Trial cable hookup from Comcast and then canceling after the free trial ends.
Apparently Comcast still hasn’t come back to disconnect the cable in her apartment.
