The End Result Of Giuliani Vs. MoveOn
Tweet
When, in November of 2008, even more Republican politicians are defeated and Democratic majorities increased in the House, Senate and of course the White House thanks in part to more money flowing to MoveOn thanks to increased visibility for them nationally – where should they send the thank-you card to Rudy Giuliani?
Because that’s what’s going to happen.

Yeah but at what price is that money from MoveOn.org? Look at the way the Dems have to be such docile obedient lapdogs to them. Is that really the type of candidates MoveOn wants?
You don’t REALLY believe that, do you fantasy boy ?
Scarry to think that our entire gubment will soon be pwned by Soros.

Yea, that’s why the troops are home from Iraq. Oh wait…
Yes, it’s much better when our government is owned by several other corporate interests instead.

You mean he’s planning to buy it back from Scaife and Murdoch?
I wish the Dems had enough spine to assert their Constitutional duty. It takes organizations like MoveOn to remind them why they were elected in the first place. Why the Dems acquiesce to a lame duck preznit with a 30% approval rating is beyond me.
Because he’s 3 times as popular as they are?

You’re mixing up cause and effect here. He’s 3x (though I believe it’s closer to 2x, but whatever) more popular BECAUSE they don’t stand up to him, not the other way around.

Maybe because their approval ratings are 11%.
Well, the approval rating of Congress is pretty much meaningless when taken in the proper context–any given voter will only really decide on 2% of the Senate and somewhere around 0.23% of the House. Meanwhile, given the incredibly high incumbency rates (90+%), if people are grossly disgusted with Congress, they’re not showing it through their voting decisions.
