Glenn Reynolds (Instapundit) absolutely hates it when there are images of slack jawed yokels and ne’er do wells from the south. Of course, Northeastern/Midatlantic liberals like myself must point out regularly that those images are quite often very true. Git ‘er done, indeed sir (in case you don’t get it, I like the Blue Collar guys and think they’re funny. You might also notice that they do humor from a sort-of conservative stand point without coming across as horrible like Newsbusters, 1/2 Hour News Hour, and that horrible non-comedian “comedian” Brad Stine).

Who makes all the redneck southern jokes, other rednect southerners. Who watches the comedians and shows that do them? other redneck southerners. Memo to Glenn, us coastal liberal elites don’t watch Jeff Foxworthy, the Cable Guy, and so on and so on.
