The Patriots thing isn't a football Watergate...it's the football equivalent of getting a copy of your opponent's campaign literature half an hour before the lit drop begins. But it gives the losers a chance to claim that every game lost to the Patriots was because of some shmuck pointing a videocamera at the opposite sidelines. Like this guy who thinks that Bruschi benefits from knowing a team's defensive signals.

Oxycon -

Except: Offensive signals are relayed directly to the QB via helmet radio. There's no real way for the Pats to have stolen those by pointing a camera. Defensive signals, however, are relayed to the sidelines and from there to the D.

I don't know if, when, or how often the Patriots cheated outside of this incident, but you accusation doesn't hold up in court.

Let's not forget that court documents named Belichick as the other man in New Jersey couple's divorce a year ago.

Turns out Belichick was banging a secretary from the Giants front office, who just happened to be married.

The dude has no morals.

I remember watching my Eagles play the Patriots in the Super Bowl and thinking at the time that it sure looked as though the Patriots knew what play the Eagles were going to run in advance. Tedy Bruschi just happened to run instantly right where the play was going everytime.
But when McNabb went no huddle, they were unstoppable
Looking back now, I know the Patriots cheated.

Murder: when does Rae Carruth get out?

It's been tough for every sport recently: Tim Donagy, Greg Oden, Rick Ankiel... There may be hope for hockey yet!
