How Believable Is David Petraeus?

Slate did one of those studies where they measured the response of 302 people to Petraeus’ testimony and ranked him on is believability on key elements of his presentation. It proves once again what we’ve known for a while. Democrats and Independents are living in the real world, assessing the real effects and policies in Iraq. Republicans are living in a dream world where all is well and rose petals are continually being thrown at our feet.

This totally explains the continuing success of Fox News. It’s like they’re begging to be lied to.

    It may be just me but, what is going to happen when we just leave Iraq? Are the terrorist’s going to take it over and have a whole country to train in? Then they would come over here.
