The GOP has an attack site up against Mark Warner and it predictably attacks him for “raising taxes”. Except that this attack has already failed, in Virginia. They tried it in 2005 versus his then Lt. Governor Tim Kaine in his campaign for the Governorship. It didn’t work because Warner’s tax policies pulled Virginia out of the fire and now the state was able to achieve a surplus. The people of Virginia weren’t fooled, and Tim Kaine is now their governor.
It’s not working anymore.
