I guess it’s a small price if you are not the one paying it.
This Says more about you than him.
It isn’t Oliver’s fault, he thinks freedom is free…..
It freedom were what we were buying with it, it still would not be a small price, but it would be worth paying.
Unfortunately, all it’s buying us is a bigger and bigger fuckup. This is one overpriced fuckup.
“It isn’t Oliver’s fault, he thinks freedom is free…..”
Leaving aside for the moment that you can’t seem to produce an original thought and resort instead to quoting bumper stickers verbatim…
Leaving aside the already-mentioned point that this elusive “freedom” you speak of seems to be an entirely different thing from what’s happening in Iraq right now…
Oliver’s not the one saying the cost of this war is low. He is saying the exact opposite of that. The top-ranking Republican in the House is the one suggesting that the lives of our troops are cheap.
(In fairness, basing your political discourse on bumper stickers is probably moderately better than the Republican Congresswomen who have used a Marvel Comics marketing slogan and Larry the Cable Guy’s catchphrase to defend this war.)

The red banjo sings opera at twilight.
Freedom may not be free, but that’s not what we’re paying for. We’re paying to set up a Shiite theocracy. That’s what we’re fighting and dying for.
Was the pussy crying when he said it?
