Politico: “Lieberman denounces MoveOn.org ad”
Really? The pro-Iraq War senator who regularly spins for the administration with made up facts about how the war is being won even as it’s being lost decides to attack… MoveOn? Next thing you’ll be telling me that water is wet.
Joe Lieberman: eternal tool.
(Here’s the ad in question. Petraeus would avoid this appearance of lapdogism if it wasn’t so blatantly transparent that he’s likely going to follow in the footsteps of every other commander in Iraq and just shill.)
UPDATE: Lieberman wrote another pro-war oped in the – you guessed it – Wall Street Journal with his fellow warmonger John McCain today. Sigh.

MoveOn’s ad was not helpful. The “betray us” jape is childish wordplay on the man’s name and provides easy fodder for mischaracterizing the case for an accurate accounting of the facts on the ground.
I don’t like the ad either.
Look for Bill O’Reilly to be positively spluttering with rage over this tonight! He was already fairly apoplectic last Friday when he was complaining about the eeeeevil libruls like Paul Krugman who had the effrontery to suggest that the noble and honorable and Serious Gen. Petraeus might be using slightly massaged statistics.
