More GOP Dirty Tricks: Iraq Edition
Tweet
Anyone surprised? I’m not.
This morning, the Washington Post has a story on how lawmakers are being “slimed in the Green Zone” when they travel to Iraq for congressional delegation trips. Reps. James Moran (D-VA), Jon Porter (R-NV), and Ellen Tauscher (D-CA) recently returned from such a trip. While there, Tauscher and Moran noticed sheets of paper that “seemed to be everywhere” in the Green Zone, “distributed to Iraqi officials, U.S. officials and uniformed military of no particular rank.”

What? Is this a bad thing?
Isn’t the purpose of owning the Executive Branch to subvert the system so as to rape the treasury?
War is good for the bottom line Oliver.
So if we can corrupt the entire system from the ground up with lying propaganda is o.k. because it helps the bottom line.
The bottom line is what make the economy going. This is far more important to the security of our nation then any silly concern for the troops, their families or the long term cost of a multi generational war.
Sounds like a couple of our elected representatives don’t like having their own words thrown back in their face when they’re dealing with the people about whom they were talking.
Think we’ll ever find out who’s directly responsible for that crap?
Nah, me neither.
Legislation needs to be passed making Repub politicization of the military a felony. They’ve been getting away with it for far too long. It’s devisive and it makes our country weaker by deviding it. Everyone knows if we had an all Repub army, we’d get our asses kicked by the likes of Albania because Repubs are basically pussies who “have other priorities” than actually shooting a gun at enemy soldiers (see Dick Cheney the Great White Hunter).
RNC talking points being distributed to our soldiers in a war zone. Just great. As usual the con apologists see nothing wrong.
Yes, because beaming uh, whatever serves for liberal media (?) into the war zone is EXACTLY the same as the DoD distributing GOP propoganda.
What “librul media” is being distributed in the war zone anyway? Z Magazine? The Nation? If only! Or is tyfoc just talking about something he doesn’t understand?
