Is Tucker another closeted Republican who feels the need to tell us that he ISN’T A GAY MAN, because it isn’t obvious to everyone that he is not gay but just androgens deficient?
Spider, how did you arrive at the conclusion that he was proud of it? He said it happened when he was in high school. If he was under the age of 18, then he was considered a minor and the guy in question was attempting to solicit sex from a minor. I’d say his head getting banged against a wall in the bathroom was the least of his worries.
Even if you don’t get into the legalities, it would have happened about 20 years ago at a time when a young kid’s emotions are going to get the better of him.
Also, considering that Tucker Carlson supports issues like gay marriage, this is much ado about nothing.
He was proud of it because he was bragging to his homophobe pals about it.
He was asked by Dan Abrams what he did.
And considering Carlson was in high school and underage, what the guy in the next stall did was about the same as what Mark Foley did. Yet, if we had heard that a page had smacked Foley across his head after coming on to him, the same people bemoaning this 20 year old incident would have said that Foley deserved it.
Also he didn’t say he held the man for the cops (you must listen like Frameone reads). He simply said, “And then the cops came an arrested him.”
Now I will channel Frameone when I say:
You’re asserting it’s ok for men to hit on high school kids in public bathrooms.
By the way jay, how are you doing with that little homework assignment? You know, prove that there was more poverty after 10 years of the Great Society than at the beginning?
It should be easy, after all 10 years is two eras.
I’m with Quaker on this. It was fucking high school. Of course, why he’s so proud of this now is for us to fathom. Only guy he ever beat up? Were I he and recalling this, I’d make him a really big, tough buff dude and that after one punch and a swirlie, he was crying like a little girl.
When Tucker said he couldn’t bring his son to the bathroom at the park he plays soccer because of all the creepy guys that hang out there, I fully expected Scarborough to pipe up and say, “I hang out at that bathroom all day and I never see any creepy guys.”
Jay, every guy who kills or beats up a gay man claims the victim propositioned him. Gay pride parades exist to stop jurors from believing that a mere proposition could or must shock someone into violence.
Tucker Carlson. The guy who once sported bow-ties as a fashion statement. Beat up someone else.
REALLY NOW?
Is Tucker another closeted Republican who feels the need to tell us that he ISN’T A GAY MAN, because it isn’t obvious to everyone that he is not gay but just androgens deficient?
Aw, for Pete’s sake. It happened when he was in high school! Presumably Mr. Carlson would respond with a bit more civility these days.
Besides, he probably doesn’t have a friend he can ask to go back and help him.
It did happen in high school. Why is he so proud of it today?
All I have to say is the accostee (sp?) had to have been **really** desperate.
YEECH!

He was proud of it because he was bragging to his homophobe pals about it.
Later he said he only held the man for the cops.
The big ado? It’s about Republican hypocrisy and the need they all feel to declaim being gay now that so many of them are falling out of the closet.
He was proud of it because he was bragging to his homophobe pals about it.

Why do we all assume Tucker is telling the truth? Don’t get your panties in a wad, hes probably lying to impress his homophobic buddies.
So, Tucker had met Larry Craig before.
Why Do Conservatives Like Larry Craig Seem So Gay?
Thank goodness we live in a country where everyone is straight until proven gay beyond a shadow of a doubt.
I sometimes laugh about stuff I did in high school that was actually pretty damned awful. Don’t you?
When Tucker said he couldn’t bring his son to the bathroom at the park he plays soccer because of all the creepy guys that hang out there, I fully expected Scarborough to pipe up and say, “I hang out at that bathroom all day and I never see any creepy guys.”
He SAYS he beat someone up. With a friend helping him.
Well, Tucker just convinced me he’s not gay. I used to have doubts. (coffee spew).
Jay, every guy who kills or beats up a gay man claims the victim propositioned him. Gay pride parades exist to stop jurors from believing that a mere proposition could or must shock someone into violence.
Some pretty hard-core self-loathing and projection, if you ask me.
Tucker said, “I’ve been bothered in men’s rooms.” “Rooms” plural but only one incident named.
Also, Jay, how do you know that Tucker’s solicitor was over 18?
I agree with Tucker that gays should speak out louder against this behavior.
