   Aw, for Pete’s sake. It happened when he was in high school! Presumably Mr. Carlson would respond with a bit more civility these days.

   Besides, he probably doesn’t have a friend he can ask to go back and help him.

   Spider, how did you arrive at the conclusion that he was proud of it? He said it happened when he was in high school. If he was under the age of 18, then he was considered a minor and the guy in question was attempting to solicit sex from a minor. I’d say his head getting banged against a wall in the bathroom was the least of his worries.

   Even if you don’t get into the legalities, it would have happened about 20 years ago at a time when a young kid’s emotions are going to get the better of him.

   Also, considering that Tucker Carlson supports issues like gay marriage, this is much ado about nothing.

   Later he said he only held the man for the cops.

   The big ado? It’s about Republican hypocrisy and the need they all feel to declaim being gay now that so many of them are falling out of the closet.

   He was asked by Dan Abrams what he did.

   And considering Carlson was in high school and underage, what the guy in the next stall did was about the same as what Mark Foley did. Yet, if we had heard that a page had smacked Foley across his head after coming on to him, the same people bemoaning this 20 year old incident would have said that Foley deserved it.

   Also he didn’t say he held the man for the cops (you must listen like Frameone reads). He simply said, “And then the cops came an arrested him.”

   Now I will channel Frameone when I say:

   You’re asserting it’s ok for men to hit on high school kids in public bathrooms.

    I’m with Quaker on this. It was fucking high school. Of course, why he’s so proud of this now is for us to fathom. Only guy he ever beat up? Were I he and recalling this, I’d make him a really big, tough buff dude and that after one punch and a swirlie, he was crying like a little girl.

    Jay, every guy who kills or beats up a gay man claims the victim propositioned him. Gay pride parades exist to stop jurors from believing that a mere proposition could or must shock someone into violence.

    Tucker said, “I’ve been bothered in men’s rooms.” “Rooms” plural but only one incident named.

    Also, Jay, how do you know that Tucker’s solicitor was over 18?

    I agree with Tucker that gays should speak out louder against this behavior.
