This man does not inspire me. Still not sure what all the hype is about. In this case it’s all hoop.
Well it was a fun and personal moment. And this is how you create news that says nothing of depth but distracts. Obama can sink a basketball into the net so he is ready to be president? I’m sure he has more skills than that, but this is news entertainment and we won’t get depth.

So don’t watch it. I won’t.
Read his book. Actually listen when he speaks, not to the softball hypothetical pandering questions they pitch at the debates, but when he’s actually, you know, talking. maybe Barak is inexperienced, maybe not. I don’t see that as a negative. As he said on the Daily show the other night, look at all the experience Dick Cheney and Donal Rumsfeld have. That hasn’t worked out so well. Coupled with the fact that he actually votes with his conscience and has always been opposed to the GWOT and now has nothing he needs to backpedal on (Hillary? Edwards?), I am inspired more and more. Reading his book, I get the sense that he actually believes in representative government. What a novel concept.
Sorry, my 2¢.
By the way, has anyone ever seen Dennis Kucinich and Steve Nash in the same room together?
Hmmm.
