I Almost Feel Bad For Rex Grossman

1:21 am EST August 23rd, 2007 | News | 3 Comments

Right now Jason Campbell is untested, and God knows the Redskins have had some sorry ass QBs in the last 10 years (paging 2006 Mark Brunell, Tony Banks, Jeff George, Shane Matthews, and Danny Wuerffel) but none of them ever got the local paper to solicit advice from 5th graders like the Chicago Sun-Times has done with Rex Grossman.

Cold.

(P.S. I still think at some point Patrick Ramsey is going to be good in the NFL. I just feel it. He’s going to turn out to be Coach Gibbs’ Trent Green. Which is ok if Campbell turns out to be a Rypien, Williams, or Theismann.)

what was wrong with 2006 brunell? His QB rating was a perfectly respectable 86.5. i’m not so sure abot ramsey developing into a good QB. he’s always been one of the least mobile QBs in the league.

Hey, if Grossman didn’t want to be given advice from fifth-graders, he should have stopped giving turn-overs every two minutes against Indianapolis. Play like you’re in elementary school, and be treated like it. Dem’s the breaks.

As an Eagles fan, here’s what I think about the Redskins and their QB troubles … chirp, chirp …

In fact, I’m one of dem folks who wish nothing but losses until that nimrod owner of theirs changes the most insensitive and racist team name in the history of the sport.

Did I mention that I hate the Skins?

Oh, and you Skins fans, keep your feet to yourself when at the Linc, none of the Republican male role playing allowed.

(BTW, Oliver, I was turned on to your blog two months ago. Love it, keep it up, Go Birds!)
