Aren’t They Cute?

A profile of some D.C. United superfans. Come September 9th they revert to being the "D.C. whatevers" in this region along with the Wizards and Nationals, but it’s cute for them right now.

Plus, we know you aren’t a superfan until you wear a pig snout and a dress.

Please, you’re just jealous b/c the Skins suck.

DC United’s a good team, and football (read “soccer” for you) is on the rise in the U.S., whether you like it or not, and no matter how badly you don’t understand the game.

  2. Oliver says:

Yes, it’s been on the “rise” for 30+ years now. The United made a big deal of something like 30,000 coming to see Posh and Becks, but the 5-11 Skins got 90,000 fans to come out without flexing a muscle.

  3. Victor says:

And you call the Barra Brava “cute,” when you proudly support a “5-11″ loser team? I think you’re the one being “cute.”

    Soccer’s fun dude, embrace it.

I solemnly swear that my mother wore the pigsnout proudly, back in the eighties. Glad to see the tradition continues.
