DC United’s a good team, and football (read “soccer” for you) is on the rise in the U.S., whether you like it or not, and no matter how badly you don’t understand the game.
Yes, it’s been on the “rise” for 30+ years now. The United made a big deal of something like 30,000 coming to see Posh and Becks, but the 5-11 Skins got 90,000 fans to come out without flexing a muscle.
And you call the Barra Brava “cute,” when you proudly support a “5-11″ loser team? I think you’re the one being “cute.”
