    The other major issue no one seems to be covering is that global warming skepticism is almost entirely POLITICAL. They are virtually ALL conservatives and virtually ALL paid for by the oil industry.

    By contrast, climatologists and other scientists who have theorized man-made global warming comprise thousands of independent researchers from all over the world and use REAL scientific data and analysis.

    Would that be the “real scientific data” from NASA? The same data they quietly “fixed” so that 1998 is no longer the hottest year ever. 1934 is?

    Rheinhard, you ask the impossible. Wingers are pathologically incapable of seeing any world OTHER than the U.S. Right for us, right for everyone, remember? Besides, the next thing you’ll tell me is there is a difference between a statistical anomaly and a long term trend, say the difference between a spike during a small period (say, the Dust Bowl, just as a ‘fer instance) vs the overall trend during the past 60-100 years (the Industrial Revolution).

    First of all, as you are a conservative, you prove my point perfectly. You’re interested in a POLITICAL agenda, not scientific truth, otherwise you’d know that the NASA data involved average temperatures for the US, not the “globe” of “global warming.”

    Like virtually EVERY conservative on this issue, you deliberately lie, obfuscate, and cast doubt solely for political reasons, not scientific or humanitarian ones.

    Yes, scientists occasionally make mistakes, update findings and adjust their theories. That’s the nature of science. But at least they are working to further knowledge, reason, and the betterment of mankind (for the most part).

    What or whom do your lies, ignorance, and shameless shilling benefit?

    Which, incidentally, puts away any “CO2 is the cause of global warming” forever.

    This is not a “theory” or a “model” or any of the AGW BS. This is straightforward atomic absorption physics, long-proven and long-accepted by all physicists, left or right.

    Read John Nicols inevitable conclusion: CO2 is all “tapped out” as a greenhouse gas at 385 parts per million, the current concentration.

    Too bad the liberals wasted their time taking “memorize and regurgitate” liberal arts courses in college instead of learning something that not only is useful, but could have actually prevented them from making fools of themselves in this whole global warming scam.

    Did I mention there hasn’t been any “warming” since 1998? Golly, it looks like the “climate crisis” solved itself.

    Just had to post this. I am so tired of hearing about how I am a conservative nazi paid by big oil if I think the whole global warming theory is BS.

    I am a life long Demacrat, I have never belonged to the Nazi party and have never accepted a dime from big oil and I still think that human caused global warming is a huge pile of BS.
