Questions I’d Like Answered

Today: I wonder how the number of hours of coverage compare if you put NBC’s coverage of Tony Snow’s cancer up against the medical suffering and needs of the soldiers that Tony Snow’s boss has ordered into combat?

Childish cheap shot.
It’s not a cheap shot, Dugger.
Snow continues to lie for his political master and young kids continue to die. It really takes someone special to do that.
Whatever it adds up to, it’s less time than was spent today talking about folks displaced by Katrina.
The MSM doesn’t care about Black People!!!
They don’t.
And it’s not a cheap shot when it’s true just because you like the target.
For someone who is supposed to keep track of the media for a living, you think by know you’d know the definition of “news”. Even the Terry Schaivos of the world know that the Iraq War is going on and that soldiers are dying. It has been covered, quite extensively, just about every day for the last 4 years.
In contrast, this was apparently the first “in-depth” interview Tony Snow has given about his bout with cancer. Is it more important than the war? Absolutely not! But in the context of whether it’s “news” in the sense of being a new development that hasn’t been reported yet, it probably is.
“In contrast, this was apparently the first “in-depth” interview Tony Snow has given ”
So what you are saying is this interview was the first coverage the media has given to Tony Snow’s cancer.
Either that or it is more proof you are a fucking moron who didn’t / can’t read the fucking post you’re responding to.
“But in the context of whether it’s “news” in the sense of being a new development that hasn’t been reported yet, it probably is.”
I see, because the war has been a fucking disaster for so long, it is no longer news-worthy. I’m sure people who actually care about the outcome of that war feel different.
