While I stood on those steps, a young, well-dressed black man stood up as well and proceeded to recite the second half of King's address (starting with his call to "Go back to Mississippi, go back to Alabama...") through to its climactic finish. I'm happy to have heard the speech recited, but I was especially thrilled to hear it recited while standing where I was.
