There is quite a bit of really good conservative scholarship out there. The people with the loudest mouths are not necessarily their representatives.

I agree, but the people on that page probably wouldn’t recognize them as “real conservatives”.

Wilbur, I suspect that most of the conservatives around these parts have never dug deeper than the cheerleaders like D’Souza and Coulter. Were they to read some of the intellectually honest conservative critiques with all of their warts and shortcomings, their heads would explode.
