This motley group of propagandists, liars, and criminals (Sean Hannity, for example, went on a nationwide tour on behalf of Bush-Cheney ’04 in October, in spite of direct FEC statute prohibiting such an act 60 days before an Election) were the main reason for Bush’s victory in both ’00 and ’04, and Karl Rove knows it.

They delivered hundreds of thousands of votes in places like Florida and Ohio, as the tried-and-true methods of the Big Lie, the personal destruction of the opposition, and endless droning repetition are used on the mostly moderate to turn them into right-wing GOP nuts.

These hosts are like the drivers for the GOP base, and Rove MUST make sure they stay in place in the caravan, otherwise they will all go down into the quagmire together, since Rove has made damn sure they they are all tied together with steel chains.
